I'll guide you through the process step by step, so you don't need any previous experience in wirework, painting or beading. It's all about experimenting with colour, enjoying the creative process and taking some time out to make something beautiful with your hands.

Painted Wire & Beaded Flower Workshop – £35

Spend three relaxing hours creating your own colourful everlasting flower using wire, paint and beads.

We'll begin by learning how to shape and manipulate wire to create the individual petals and leaves of your flower. You'll then add colour with paint before bringing everything together and adding beads to create beautiful decorative details and texture.

There will be a selection of colours and beads available for you to choose from, giving you plenty of opportunity to experiment and make your flower completely individual to you.

I'll be there to guide you throughout the workshop, helping you with each technique and encouraging you to play with different colour combinations and ideas.

At the end of the session, you'll leave with your own handmade flower to display at home, add to a vase or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.

A Little Time to Slow Down and Create

This workshop isn't about making the "perfect" flower.

It's about enjoying the process of creating – choosing colours, working with your hands and watching something beautiful gradually take shape.

Crafting can give us a welcome opportunity to switch off from everyday distractions and focus on the simple pleasure of making. The workshop is relaxed, friendly and designed to give you the confidence to experiment, even if you don't consider yourself particularly creative.

Do I need any previous experience?

Not at all. The workshop is designed to be beginner friendly and I'll guide you through each stage step by step. You don't need any previous experience with wirework, painting or beading.

What will I make?

You'll create your own decorative painted wire and beaded flower, learning how to form the petals and leaves, add colour and incorporate beads into your design.

Your finished flower can be displayed on its own, added to a vase or combined with other everlasting flowers to gradually build your own colourful bouquet.

Do I get to choose my colours?

Yes. Part of the fun of the workshop is making your flower your own. You'll have a selection of paints and beads to choose from so you can experiment with different colour combinations.

Are all the materials included?

Yes. All the wire, paint, beads and other materials you need to create your flower are included, along with use of the tools required during the workshop.

Can I come on my own?

Of course. Lots of people come to my workshops on their own. The sessions are friendly and informal, and they're a lovely way to spend some creative time with like-minded people.

Age Guidance

These workshops are suitable for ages 14+.

Younger participants may be accommodated where appropriate, but they must attend with a parent or responsible adult who is also booked onto the workshop. Please contact me before booking if you'd like to discuss whether the workshop is suitable for a younger participant.
